The mission of the workshop is to highlight fields of study that interface with industrial organization (e.g., health, environment, urban, trade, macro, etc…). For its 2016 edition, the workshop will focus on the applications of industrial organization to health economics.

The main objectives of the conference are to improve the understanding of (i) how natural disasters affect household welfare, and (ii) how policy-makers can overcome the behavioral, political, technical, and operative hurdles involved in disaster risk preventive interventions.

The subject of the conference is "The Right Policy for China's Continued Development." Topics: Health Care; Population Health; Energy; Environment; Agriculture and Food Security.
