Since its founding in 1995, the Society of Labor Economists has sought to promote the study of labor economics and to make more significant the contribution of labor economics and labor economists.

The Midwest International Economics Group was founded in 1981 to foster and encourage research in International Trade. We hold conferences twice a year, in the fall and spring, jointly with the Midwest Theory conference.

Papers on any topic related to international economic development are welcome.

All contributions with a focus on regional/spatial phenomena and an economic, environmental, geographical and social science background are welcome.
