The 2012 conference will address topics such as: sustainability and natural resource management, forecasting methods for tourism and regional economies, the economics of renewable energy, and tourism economics.

Papers are sought in all fields of interest to the IARIW, i.e. all papers that advance knowledge about income and wealth, from both a macro and micro perspective.

Proposals on any aspect of agricultural or resource economics, including teaching, research, and/or extension are encouraged.
