The main aim of this 25 hours course is to provide an introduction to applied macroeconomics and macroeconometrics with MATLAB. The approach is problem based, i.e. students will be made familiar with the software using well-known examples from both economic theory and applied econometrics.

Professor Pagan’s work has had great impact on econometrics and applied macroeconomics, and we invite papers which contribute in either of those streams for presentation at the conference.

The program will consist of invited speakers and contributed papers on a wide range of both theoretical and applied areas of econometrics, microeconomics and macroeconomics.
