Bemerkungen zum Geldmarkigeschehen seit 1975
Die Geldmarktjahre 1975-1979 waren Jahre zwischen zwei Hochzinsperioden. In dieser Zeit sind mehrere Neuerungen entwickelt worden, die das Geldmarktgeschehen betreffen und gegebenenfalls beeinflussen. Es ist insbesondere die Bundesbank, die solche Neuentwicklungen ausgelöst hat. Wichtig ist, daß man seit der letzten Hochzinsperiode ein "Mehr" an Geldmarktregulierung durch die Bundesbank registriert als vorher. Dagegen lassen es die derzeit gültigen Vorschriften zu, daß bestimmte Geldhandelsgeschäfte den Schwierigkeiten bei der Einhaltung der Grundsatznormen (88 10 und 11 KWG) entgegen wirken. Das Einfrieren aller iranischer Staatsguthaben bei amerikanischen Banken in aller Welt gibt Anlaß, über die weitere Eingrenzung der politischen Geldmarktrisiken nachzudenken. Der Beitrag schließt mit Ausführungen, die erkennen lassen, daß sich das Volumen der sogenannten Randgeschäfte des Geldmarktes in der jüngeren Vergangenheit offenbar kräftig ausgedehnt hat. Insbesondere der Wechselhandel zwischen Banken hat neue Anregungen bekommen. Daß sich Geschäfte zu Geldhandelsusancen zwischen Banken und Nichtbanken immer weiter verbreiten, wird von der Praxis bestätigt.
