Chicago Plan und Vollgeld als Alternative zum Kreditgeld : ein Weg zu stetigem Wachstum?

Die gemeinsame Grundidee von Chicago Plan Revisited, Positive Money und Vollgeld ist es, zu verhindern, dass Geschäftsbanken im Zuge der Kreditvergabe oder des Ankaufs von Vermögenswerten Geld schaffen. Der Autor untersucht mögliche Konsequenzen einer Geldreform: Wird Geld einfach substituiert? Wie funktioniert die Finanzierung von Investitionen? Er vertritt die Auffassung, dass innovative Unternehmer eine Volkswirtschaft ohne Bankkredite nicht aus ihrem stationären Zustand reißen können. Zur Prävention einer erneuten Krise hält der Autor makroprudenzielle Instrumente für geeigneter als eine Geldreform.
