Christliche Sozialethik und das Wertproblem in den Wirtschaftswissenschaften
Zusammenfassung Der Beitrag zeigt die grundsätzliche Vereinbarkeit naturrechtlicher Verfahren der Normbegründung, wie sie in der christlichen Sozialethik entwickelt werden, mit der ökonomischen Methodologie auf. Insbesondere wird argumentiert, daß der die gegenwärtige Ökonomik dominierende moralische Skeptizismus, nach welchem es objektive, gottgegebene Werte nicht gebe, aus logischen Gründen unhaltbar ist. Es wird gezeigt, daß die von Karl Popper begründete Methodologie des Kritischen Rationalismus in bezug auf das Problem der Wertbegründung in der Ökonomik daher meist inkonsistent angewendet wird. Auf rein erkenntnistheoretischer Ebene ist der Konflikt zwischen ökonomischem Subjektivismus und dem ethischen Objektivismus in der christlichen Sozialethik unentscheidbar. Abschließend wird daher untersucht, wie Karl Popper sich ganz persönlich in dieser Frage entschied: Überraschenderweise hatte Popper selbst offenbar einen objektivistischen Normbegriff und sympathisierte mit der christlichen Naturrechtslehre.
