Defining Developing Countries In Higher Education Context

Higher education particularly is undergoing a paradigmatic shift while embracing digitization. This paper presents an overview of the issues in higher education in developing countries. By taking a close look at the categorization and stratification of countries, exploring developing countries' narrative and their current landscape in the world economy. This process reviews the socio-economic, market-oriented, and digitization related parameters associated with higher education in developing countries.
