DESARROLLO SOSTENIBLE A PARTIR DE LOS ENFOQUES DE LOS PROBLEMAS SOCIALES DE LA CIENCIA Y LA TECNOLOGÍA
La relación ciencia, tecnología y sociedad es de gran valor metodológico para explicar las tendencias actuales del desarrollo sostenible, al demostrar la interconexión de los diferentes factores presentes en su evolución incluyendo los nuevos conocimientos científico - tecnológicos. En este ensayo se aborda la problemática del desarrollo de la ciencia y la tecnología y su influencia en el desarrollo sostenible; tratando como premisa fundamental la idea de que esta relación es compleja, ambigua y presenta múltiples facetas. Se expone que no necesariamente más conocimiento científico expresado en innovaciones científicas tendrá como resultado una sociedad más sostenible.
