Deutsche Börsen im Leistungsvergleich -— IBIS und BOSS-CUBE
Gegenstand dieser Untersuchung ist ein Leistungsvergleich von IBIS und BOSS-CUBE beim Handel von 40 Aktien. Hierfür steht erstmals eine Datenbasis zur Verfügung, die neben IBIS auch den Handel über BOSS-CUBE an allen acht Parkettbörsen abdeckt. Die Leistung der Systeme und Börsen wird daran gemessen, wie marktnah die Kurse sind, zu denen die Anleger handeln können, was sich an den effektiven Spannen ablesen läßt. Das Abschlußkurs-Spannen-Verhältnis (ASV) setzt die effektive BOSS-Spanne ins Verhältnis zur effektiven IBIS-Spanne. Wenn das ASV kleiner als 1 ist, dann sind die Kurse in BOSS-CUBE marktnäher. Mikrostrukturtheoretische Überlegungen führen zu den Hypothesen, BOSSCUBE erlaube marktnähere Kurse als IBIS, und dieser Vorteil von BOSS-CUBE sei bei umsatzschwächeren Aktien besonders ausgeprägt. Es ist auch zu erwarten, daß die eine oder die andere der kleineren Börsen entsprechend ihrer wettbewerblichen Kontrollfunktion in einigen Aktien marktnähere Kurse aufweist als Frankfurt. Die Ergebnisse der empirischen Untersuchung widersprechen diesen Thesen nicht.
