Diferencias de los ingresos laborales entre los puestos de trabajo asalariado y los puestos de trabajo autogenerados en el Perú, 2007-2011
El objetivo principal de este artículo es someter a prueba la existencia de diferencias de los ingresos laborales entre los puestos de trabajo asalariado y los puestos de trabajo autogenerados ocupados por personas que son iguales en los mercados laborales del Perú. Para este fin, se utiliza la información de las encuestas de hogares de los años 2007-2011 y se emplean métodos semiparamétricos para hacer las comparaciones (propensity score matching, doble diferencia y doble diferencia con emparejamiento). Los resultados adquieren robustez mediante el uso de tres métodos semiparamétricos o no paramétricos distintos, junto con un conjunto amplio de datos que combina muestras de corte transversal con muestras panel. Los hallazgos sugieren la existencia de segmentación entre estos dos tipos de puestos de trabajo. Los cálculos fueron hechos para diferentes muestras: nacional, diferenciando por sexo y diferenciando por área de residencia. A escala nacional, los premios estimados se ubican en el rango de 35% a 53%, dependiendo del método empleado. Entre las mujeres y los residentes de las áreas rurales, los premios son mayores.
