Estudio de evaluación del potencial de biogás en los proyectos BID/FOMIN y la estrategia de implementación para un programa de biogás en Nicaragua
El presente estudio fue financiado por FOMIN del grupo BID y ejecutado por el Servicio Holandés (SNV). Contiene la evaluación del potencial de biogás en los beneficiarios vinculados a cuatro de los proyectos del FOMIN que se ejecutan en Nicaragua y Honduras. Las tres cadenas de valor analizadas y apoyadas por los proyectos son: la cadena de la leche, la de café y hotelería en la isla de Ometepe. La metodología aplicada fue de entrevistas directas bajo una guía de campo, a los actores involucrados en las tres cadenas de valor, tales como representantes de organizaciones gremiales, microfinancieras, empresas procesadoras, cooperativas de ahorro y crédito, unidades ejecutoras de los proyectos, proveedores, empresarios hoteleros de Ometepe, productores y productoras de los sectores ganaderos y cafetaleros. Adicionalmente se realizó un taller de devolución de los resultados a los entrevistados y a otros actores relacionados.
