Future Pattern of Inclusive Growth : Poverty Employment Workforce (PEW) in Rural and Urban Regions of India

This paper attempts to analyze for identifying the trends and structural changes in employment scenario, poverty, workforce participation with its growth performance of rural and urban India covering with the past 50 years statistics and also forecasting for future. The important issues that are covered include: What are the different changes and trend performance of mentioned above sectors at rural and urban and combined all India level during the period 1951 to 2001? What will be future values of 2011 and 2021? Is there any trend regarding the employment, poverty and workforce participation in agricultural and non-agricultural sectors in rural and urban areas? The analysis identifies the differences in the workforce in agricultural and non-agricultural sectors. The results show that there is a significant increase in non-agricultural workforce for both rural and urban areas. The study is identified that there will be a notable change in percentage of below poverty line people and the urbanization in the coming years 2011 and 2021. Other parameter may remain the same for both rural and urban India as a whole
