Most of those golf courses are located in the scenically locations, which allow golfers to enjoy the picturesque beauty of Indonesia. Jakarta, as the capital city of Indonesia, also offers the unforgettable experience for the golf-lovers. The well-designed and the uniquely located golf courses in the city limit of Jakarta could be considered as invaluable opportunities to develop the city. Golf may well be used as a perfect reason to escape from the daily routines, while constantly building a networking in business. The purpose of this research is to study golf as a potential tourist attraction to support the tourism in Jakarta, and to learn the opportunities in developing stronger awareness from the international market about Jakarta, as one of the golf tourism destinations
