International Market Entry and Strategies for Sustainable Success : 'Cag Educational Corporation' Case Study

Uluslararası rekabetin yoğunlaştığı günümüzün piyasa koşullarında Türkiye'deki eğitim sektöründe faaliyet gösteren KOBİ'lerin uluslararası piyasaya açılması ve giriş yapılan ülkelerin piyasalarında başarılı olma stratejilerinin neler olduğunun ortaya konulması bu çalışmanın amacını oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada, Azerbaycan'da eğitim sektöründe faaliyet gösteren Türk sermayeli “Çağ Öğretim İşletmeleri” örnek olay yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. Çalışma betimsel (descriptive) nitelik taşımaktadır. Elde edilen verilere göre Çağ Öğretim İşletmeleri Azerbaycan'da doğrudan yatırım yapan yabancı sermayeli bir işletmedir. Şirketin eğitim kurumlarında oluşturulmuş olan eğitim modeli, Azerbaycan'ın bağımsızlık sonrasında Batı eğitim sistemiyle entegre olmasında çok zaman öncü olma rolünü üstlenmiştir. Şirket bünyesinde anasınıfından başlayarak doktoraya kadar eğitimin tüm seviyelerinde hizmet sunulmaktadır. Liselerden mezun olan öğrencilerin üniversiteyi kazanma oranları, uluslararası olimpiyatlarda elde edilen başarılar ve dahi üniversitesinden mezun olan öğrencilerin gerek akademik kariyer, gerekse iş dünyasında bu mezunlara olan yoğun talep, şirketin eğitim kurumlarının başarılarından sadece birkaç örnek teşkil etmektedir.In today's market conditions where international competition intensified SME which has an active role in Turkish education sector and their access to international markets and revealing of strategies to be successful in the entry markets of the countries is the aim of this study. In this study, Cag Education Company, which is based on Turkish capital, has been examined with the case study method. This study has descriptive aspects. According to obtained data, Cag Education Company is a company with foreign capital engaged in direct investment in Azerbaijan. The company's educational model that was created in educational institutions has been playing leading role after the independence in connection with the Azerbaijani education system to be integrated to the West education system. In this Company, all levels of education services starting with the main class are offered up to a doctorate. Rates of the pupils who enter university after graduation, achievements in international Olympiads, increased customer demand for the students who graduated from the university constitutes only a few examples of the company's achievements in educational institutions
