Kaufleute zwischen Angestelltenstatus und Dienstleistungsarbeit - eine soziologische Spurensuche: industriesoziologische Expertise kaufmännisch-betriebswirtschaftlicher Berufe
Vor ca. 100 Jahren entwickelte sich der Berufstypus der kaufmännischen Angestelltenschaft als Massenphänomen. Dieser Berufstypus differenzierte sich mit der Entwicklung von Dienstleistungen und den unterschiedlichen Statusgruppen aus. Dennoch sehen sich kaufmännische Angestellte aktuell mit ähnlichen Anforderungen konfrontiert, die mit den Schlagworten Informatisierung, Kundenorientierung, marktzentrierte Steuerung, Entgrenzung und Flexibilisierung der Arbeit und Internationalisierung verbunden sind und auch Mentalitätsveränderungen erzeugen. Die vorliegende Studie trägt die Erkenntnisse der Industriesoziologie zu kaufmännischen Angestellten zusammen und leistet damit einen hilfreichen Beitrag zur Untersuchung der Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede kaufmännisch betriebswirtschaftlicher Berufe in einem BIBB-Forschungsprojekt. Die zentralen Fragen der vorliegeden Literaturstudie lauten: Welche Entwicklungstendenzen der Umsetzung von Arbeitskraft in Arbeit bei Kaufleuten lassen sich in der Literatur feststellen? Wie ist kaufmännische Arbeit organisiert? Welche Qualifikationen werden dabei angewandt und aktualisiert? Wie ist kaufmännische Arbeit in betriebliche Arbeitsteilung und Herrschaftszusammenhänge eingebunden? Welche Deutungsmuster und Interessenorientierungen weisen kaufmännische Angestellte typischerweise auf? (Autorenreferat, BIBB-Doku)
