English Abstract: Articolul cuprinde o sinteză a reglementării naţionale a măsurilor de protecţia a salariaţilor în cazul transferului de întreprinderi, unităţi sau părţi de întreprinderi sau unităţi şi, mai important, o sinteză a jurisprudenţei Curţii de Justiţie a Uniunii Europene în această materie structurată, în mod original, în funcţie de anumite probleme practice în special domeniul de aplicare, noţiunea de unitate, noţiunea de transfer, consecinţele transferului asupra raporturilor de muncă, protecţia drepturilor salariaţilor, oferind practicienilor un instrument util.English Abstract: The article comprises a synthesis of the national and European regulations on the measures aiming the safeguarding of employees' rights in the event of transfers of undertakings, businesses or parts of undertakings or businesses and, more important, a synthesis of the Court of Justice of the European Union case law in this matter organised, in an original way, according to some practical issues especially the scope of regulation, the notion of undertaking, the notion of transfer, the transfer consequences on the labour relations, the employees' rights protection, giving to the practitioner a useful instrument
