Quelques considérations sur le rôle du Président de la Roumanie
Conformément à l'art. 80 de la Constitution de la Roumanie republiée, le Président de la République représente l’État roumain et il est le garant de l'indépendance nationale, de l'unité et de l'intégrité territoriale du pays. Il veille au respect de la Constitution et au bon fonctionnement des autorités publiques pour lesquelles il exerce la fonction de médiateur entre les pouvoirs de l'État, et entre l'État et la société. Ainsi, on peut affirmer que la loi fondamentale de la Roumanie confère au Président de la République une position à part dans la structure organisationnelle de l'État, caractérisée par les fonctions qui lui sont confiées: le rôle de représentant de l'État roumain, la fonction de garant et celle de médiateur. Dans cette étude, l'auteur a tenté une présentation synthétique et analytique de ces questions.
