Social Networking Practices of Young Romanians

The aim of this study is to investigate the involvement of young Romanians in social networking activities and find out the popularity of the social networking among the range of available online activities. We analyse the characteristics of their online self-presentation and the social networking practices they develop. We describe and compare the progress of young Romanians in social networking activities, enhancing the differences in usage patterns occurred between 2010 and 2013. We also characterize the social networking patterns of the young Romanians as compared to European youngsters
