Strategies of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises in Innovative Activity
The article focuses on obtaining answers to the questions: by what factors analyzed small and medium-sized enterprises compete in the market, whether these companies take the planned action in terms of innovation, and whether and how often they use innovative strategies? The study shows that small and medium-sized innovative enterprises with majority domestic capital to the greatest extent declare competing in the market by quality of their products, at the same time trying to reduce costs of their business. Most of the surveyed companies had a long-term plan in the area of innovation, also pointing to take immediate actions in area of innovation, responding to market needs. The results suggest that factors driving business to be more expansive in innovative activities are: holding research and development department, functioning on growing market and concentration on particular market products.
