The Analysis of Temperature and Air Entrainment Rate for the Turbulence Diffusion Flame of Propane and Carbon Dioxide Gas Mixture
The temperature of turbulent jet flame for the gas mixture of propane and carbon dioxide has been investigated in this study. The nozzle diameters are 2, 3 and 4 mm, respectively. A mixture of propane and carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) with the different concentration ratios have been considered. The results show that under the same heat release rate, the flame temperature increases firstly and then decreases with concentration of CO 2 , and the rising rate and the fulling rate are proportional to the concentration of carbon dioxide. A virtual point source model was developed to analyze the relationship between CO 2 concentration and temperature. Considering that the addition of CO 2 could affect the air entrainment coefficient of the flame plume zone thereby changing the flame temperature, the correlation among the flame temperature, CO 2 concentration and air entrainment coefficient is established
