Die Problemstellung der effizienten Verkaufsfl?chennutzung im station?ren Einzelhandel l?sst sich folgenderma?en zusammenfassen: Welche Artikel sollen wie oft an welcher Stelle auf dem Warentr?ger platziert werden? In der einschl?gigen Fachliteratur zum Handelsmarketing und in der Einzelhandelspraxis werden diese Fragen separiert betrachtet. Zun?chst wird im Sortimentsmanagement die Entscheidung ?ber die Zusammensetzung des Platzierungssortiments getroffen, wonach im Anschluss die Entscheidung ?ber Platzierungsmenge und -ort als weitgehend operative Routineaufgabe behandelt wird. Ein weithin vernachl?ssigter Aspekt sowohl in der betriebswirtschaftlichen Literatur als auch in den integrativen Logistik- und Marketingkonzepten (ECR, CPFR, CM) liegt in der Interdependenz zwischen der Entscheidung ?ber die Zusammensetzung des Platzierungssortiments und der den einzelnen Artikeln zugeordneten Regalfl?che: Einerseits kann ein effektives Sortimentsmanagement nur dann gew?hrleistet werden, wenn der Erfolgsbeitrag des einzelnen Artikels bekannt ist. Andererseits bestimmen die Platzierungsmengen der einzelnen Artikel die Lieferh?ufigkeiten, die Lagerhaltungskosten und somit die Handlingskosten sowie Erfolgsbeitr?ge der einzelnen Artikel, denn ohne separate Lagerfl?chen in den Filialen m?ssen die f?r einen Artikel bestimmten Regalfl?chen die logistische Kernleistung des Lagerns ?bernehmen.Ein Ansatz, die Handlingkosten eines Artikels zu ber?cksichtigen, besteht aus dem In den 80er Jahren entwickelten DPR-Konzept, welches allerdings aufgrund von Praktikabilit?tsgr?nden in der Handelspraxis kaum umgesetzt wurde. Zudem l?st das DPR-Konzept die interdependente Beziehung zwischen zugeordneter Verkaufsfl?che und Artikelerfolg nicht auf. So gehen die Dispositions- oder Bestellkosten als fester Faktor in die Berechnung der Kennzahl ein, anstatt in Abh?ngigkeit der Platzierungsmenge berechnet zu werden.Vor diesem Hintergrund wurde in der Dissertation als 1. Hauptziel die Entwicklung eines prozesskostenbasierten Deckungsbeitrags verfolgt, welcher die mittelfristig beeinflussbaren Prozesskosten auf Fiiial-, Transport- und Zentrallagerebene umfasst. Dieser Deckungsbeitrag wird f?r jede erlaubte Platzierungsmenge (in Frontst?cken) ermittelt und als Artikelfl?chendeckungsbeitrag (AFDB) in Relation zum Engpassfaktor Regalfl?che gesetzt. Dies erlaubt, f?r jeden Artikel den maximalen AFDB zu ermitteln und optional den Einfluss stochastischer Nachfrage in der Lieferzeit, unterschiedlicher Belieferungsformen (Zentrallager-, Direkt- und Cross-Docking) sowie unterschiedlicher Versandeinheitengr??en zu ber?cksichtigen.Das 2. Hauptziel der Dissertation ist es, unter Verwendung der AFDB-Werte der einzelnen Artikel eine gesamte Warengruppe zu betrachten und einen Planungsprozess zur Bestimmung von Platzierungssortiment, -menge und -ort zu entwickeln. Der quantitative Kern des Planungsprozesses ist ein Planungsmodell f?r die Sortiments- und Platzierungsmengenentscheidung, welches ?ber ein geeignetes heuristisches L?sungsverfahren den Gesamtdeckungsbeitrag des Platzierungsvorschlags zumindest nahezu maximiert. Optional kann der akquisitorische Effekt der vertikalen Platzierungsh?he (B?ck-, Greif- oder Reckzone) in einem weiteren Modell ber?cksichtigt werden, um zu entscheiden, wie viele der ermittelten Frontst?cke eines zu platzierenden Artikels auf einem bestimmten Regalboden zu platzieren sind.Im Rahmen der Arbeit wir eine prototypische Softwareapplikation entwickelt, welche den gesamte Planungsprozess in Form eines Excel-gest?tzten Entscheidungsunterst?tzungssystems abbildet. Unter Verwendung weitgehend empirischer Daten kann in einem Anwendungsbeispiel gezeigt werden, dass durch die vorgestellten Modelle und Verfahren der Handel in die Lage versetzt wird, Regalplatzierungen zu erstellen, die dem Ziel der Deckungsbeitragsmaximierung erheblich n?her kommen als der Status-Quo. Die prototypische Realisierung in einem Entscheidungsunterst?tzungssystem konnte zeigen, dass die Vorgehensweise auch praktisch umsetzbar ist. Es wurden auch - im Gegensatz z. B. zum DPR-Konzept der 80er Jahre - keine unverh?ltnism??igen Datenanforderungen gestellt. Zudem sind die allgemeinen Restriktionen (Zentrallagerbelieferung, Kostens?tze auf Filial-, Zentralllager- und Transportebene, Eingriffsm?glichkeiten des Warengruppen-managers z. B. bei der Festlegung des Pflicht- und Zusatzsortiments etc.) der Einzelhandelspraxis in Deutschland entnommen. Eine Integration in bestehende Regaloptimierungssoftware (Space Management Software) als auch dem ECR-Konzept ist m?glich, was eine weitgehende Akzeptanz und Etablierung der vorgestellten Konzepte in der Unternehmenspraxis gew?hrleisten w?rde. Simulationen und Anwendungsbeispiele mit weitgehend empirischen Daten konnten nachweisen, dass sich gew?hnlich erhebliche Deckungsbeitragspotenziale bei der Erstellung und ?berarbeitung von Plazierungsvorschl?gen (Planogrammen) erzielen lassen.
