Vietnam's Emerging Stock Market : Profitability and Growth in a Statistical View

The Vietnamese stock market has been going into operation for over 8 years. This paper summarizes major aspects of the emerging market so as to give an intuitive and essential overview of its constituents, regulations and performance. Specifically, we examine the risk and return associated with the promising market by looking into the volatility of the VN-Index during the period.
