Weiterbildungen mit Berufsabschluss: Arbeitslose profitieren von Qualifizierungen
Weiterbildungen mit Abschluss in einem anerkannten Ausbildungsberuf, kurz Umschulungen genannt, sind eine wichtige arbeitsmarktpolitische Maßnahme, besonders auch für gering qualifizierte Arbeitslose. Sie dauern mit zwei bis drei Jahren zwar lang, führen aber zu einem regulären Berufsabschluss. Ob und wie sich die Beschäftigungschancen der Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer nach der Umschulung tatsächlich verbessern, hängt unter anderem davon ab, welchen Beruf sie neu erlernen.
