The article analyzes the Dynkin (1975) stochastic model of economic equilibrium. We solve a question regarding this model that was open for a long time. We provide arguments yielding a complete proof of Dynkin's existence theorem for equilibrium paths.

We develop a theory of decision making and General Equilibrium for contingent markets when incomplete preferences are generated by second-order stochastic dominance (SSD). Demand, Pareto-optima and equilibria dominance are fully characterized. Demands and equilibrium allocations are...

The main thrust of the paper is the design and the numerical analysis of new cap- and-trade schemes for the control and the reduction of atmospheric pollution. The tools developed are intended to help policy makers and regulators understand the pros and the cons of the emissions markets. We...

The implementation of management control devices in the public sector is a very difficult challenge, especially if these devices come from private sector. Through two case studies, this paper analyses how two public organizations have implemented management control systems. We point out that...

This paper deals with inertia functions in control theory introduced in Aubin, Bernardo and Saint-Pierre (2004, 2005) and their adaptation to dynamical games. The inertia function associates with any initial state-control pair the smallest of the worst norms over time of the velocities of the...

Efficient risk-sharing rules and equilibria between two agents with utilities in a class that contains the Rank Dependent Expected Util- ity (RDU) are fully characterized. Specific attention is given to the RDU. Call-spreads and contracts with mixed regimes are shown to be efficient....

We consider a class of law invariant utilities which contains the Rank Dependent Expected Utility (RDU) and the cumulative prospect theory (CPT). We show that the computation of demand for a contingent claim when utilities are within that class, although not as simple as in the Expected Utility...
