Ökologische Steuerreform in der Schweiz
Die aktuell weltweit stattfindende Debatte über den Klimaschutz wird in der Schweiz aufgrund des hohen Stellenwertes klima- und energiepolitischer Belange schon seit Längerem geführt. Das Hamburgische WeltWirtschaftsInstitut (HWWI) untersucht deshalb in seiner Studie Ökologische Steuerreform in der Schweiz, wie die Schweiz als kleines Land einen kosteneffizienten Beitrag zur Minderung des globalen CO2-Ausstosses leisten kann, ohne die eigene künftige Energieversorgung zu gefährden und ohne die nationale wirtschaftliche Entwicklung zu beeinträchtigen. In der Studie werden zunächst der gesetzliche und der politische Status quo sowie die relevanten Daten kurz dargestellt. Anschließend werden beschlossene und geplante weitere Maßnahmen sowie alternative Vorgehensweisen jeweils ökonomisch beurteilt. Hieraus wird eine Empfehlung für künftige klima- und energiepolitische Schritte in der Schweiz abgeleitet.
