Überschneidungen in der IEBS: Deskriptive Auswertung und Interpretation (Overlapping spells in the IEBS: descriptives and interpretation)
"Integrierte Erwerbsbiografien (IEB) des IAB werden in Zukunft eine der wichtigsten Datenquellen für die Arbeitsmarktforschung in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland sein: Für Forschungszwecke können die Prozessdaten der Bundesagentur für Arbeit zu Zeiten der Arbeitsplatzsuche, des Leistungsbezugs sowie der Maßnahmenteilnahme mit den Meldungen zu sozialversicherungspflichtigen Beschäftigungszeiten verknüpft werden. Die Studie untersucht, inwieweit in der IEB-Stichprobe (IEBS) des Forschungsdatenzentrums der Bundesagentur für Arbeit im IAB zeitliche Überschneidungen einzelner Informationen vorliegen. Ziel der Untersuchung ist es, für Wissenschaftler hilfreiche Informationen zur Einschätzung der Bedeutung und der Zulässigkeit von Überschneidungen bereitzustellen. Dabei wird in zwei Schritten vorgegangen: Erstens wird ein Überblick über die häufigsten Typen von Episodenüberschneidungen innerhalb und zwischen den Quelldateien der IEB gegeben, und es werden deren mögliche Ursachen diskutiert. Zweitens werden Überschneidungen zwischen Beschäftigungs- und Leistungsbezugszeiten unter Einbezug weiterer Informationen aus den Prozessdaten detaillierter analysiert." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
