В основе статьи лежит доклад "Культура и будущее России. Новый взгляд". <P> The article concerns the problems of state financing of the Russian culture at its present-day development stage. Statistical information is provided on the budget expenditures on culture from 1990 through 2005. The report "Culture and Future of Russia. A new Glance" forms the basis of the article.
