A Comparative Analysis of Securities Regulations in Select Emerging Markets

The mandate of our research paper includes identifying the various Securities Regulations and Codes in emerging economies and markets. A comparison of markets such as Brazil, China, India and Russia would fulfill the needs of a truly secure and robust bandwidth of securities transactions. According to the World Bank, the Big Five emerging economies are Brazil, Russia, India, Indonesia, and China. Furthermore, Western commentators observe the critical transitions made in these economies that will fundamentally alter their course in the future. In fact, the World Bank estimated in the late 1990's, that by 2020, these five countries will double their exports, thereby capturing roughly sixteen percent (16) percent of total world output.
