A study on Microfinance and Women Entrepreneurs in National Capital Region (NCR) of New Delhi in India
For enrichment of the society, it is very important to educate the women and to empower her. An educated and empowered woman results into an empowered and prosperous society. Women empowerment can be brought into any society by not only educating her but by making her an important instrument in economic prosperity. The present study aims to study the role of microfinance in women empowerment among women entrepreneurs of National Capital Region of New Delhi. A descriptive study on 50 women entrepreneurs in the NCR region of New Delhi was undertaken by administering a structured questionnaire. The data collected was analyzed using SPSS 21and chi square test was used for hypothesis testing. The results showed that micro financing and its awareness is very critical to women empowerment among women entrepreneurs
