A survey of rural energy in the developed region of China
The level and structure of rural energy consumption have been changing greatly in the developed region of China, where the economy is growing rapidly. The growth of rural industry is giving rise to a substantial increase in energy demand. The availability of reliable and secure energy supplies is one of the factors which limits the rate of sustained economic growth. Energy conservation is an important means for bringing supplies and demands into balance.
