A Systematic Review of Public Relations in Africa

The role of Public Relations in Communication for businesses and organizations cannot be underestimated especially in the 21st century when technology has become an integral part in communicating with the publics. The study assesses public relations in Africa post 2000s. The study applied an empirical approach in assessing public relations in Africa. The paper shows that there is a research gap in the field of public relations in Africa as available literatures are focused on South Africa and Nigeria. The study concludes with recommendations for needed areas of research in the African context
