Agrarwirtschaftliche Entwicklung und Agrarpolitik Mexiko: 1960-1975
Ziel dieser Studie ist es, für den Zeitraum zwischen 1960 und 1975 die wichtigsten Struktur- und Entwicklungsmerkmale der mexikanischen Landwirtschaft herauszuarbeiten und die Agrarpolitik für diesen Zeitraum darzustellen. Obwohl Staatsinterventionen in den Agrarsektor gerade in Entwicklungsländern oft wichtige soziale, politische und gesetzliche Dimensionen haben, wird die Untersuchung im wesentlichen eine ökonomische sein. In Teil I wird die Entwicklung der Produktion und des Faktoreinsatzes im mexikanischen Agrarsektor skizziert. Teil II enthält eine nach präsidialen Amtszeiten geordnete Übersicht der globalen Entwicklungsstrategien für den Agrarsektor. Es schließt sich in Teil III eine Beschreibung der wichtigsten agrarpolitischen Ziele und Maßnahmen an. Dabei wird gemäß des in Teil I verfolgten Konzepts des growth accounting das Instrumentarium nach den jeweiligen Ansatzpunkten gegliedert.
