Aide budgétaire : le cas du Burkina Faso

Global Budget Support should contribute to give some sense to the national process of budget allocation. The case of Burkina Faso shows that progress has been made in this direction. Nevertheless, the links between strategies and budgetisation remain weak, namely because of budget dualism. The policy dialogue is mainly limited to the Ministry of Finance, which is not entitled to coordinate the reform process. However, the rise of budgetary assistance and the recent fusion of two ministries in a single ministry of Economy and Finance is making a change in Burkina Faso.
