Alternative statistische Konzepte zur Erfassung der Arbeitslosigkeit
Die monatlichen Arbeitsmarktzahlen stehen bei ihrer Veröffentlichung im Mittelpunkt des öffentlichen Interesses: Besondere Aufmerksamkeit erfahren dabei die Gesamtzahl der Arbeitslosen und die amtliche Arbeitslosenquote. Diese Indikatoren unterzeichnen jedoch das tatsächliche Ausmaß der Arbeitslosigkeit, da sie ausschließlich auf die registrierten Arbeitslosen abstellen. Der folgende Beitrag vergleicht alternative Konzepte zur Erfassung der gesamten Arbeitslosigkeit und beschreibt Änderungen bei der Ermittlung der international vergleichbaren Erwerbslosenzahlen.
