Alternative Strategies for Contemporary Marketing for Entrepreneurs

Conventional marketing, though is necessary investment for the sustainable businesses is often so expensive that most of the entrepreneurs, particularly the start-ups, choose to avoid it and look for other alternatives. One such alternative and cost-effective way to receive a better response from prospective customers is to encourage them to reach out for the goods or services of start-ups, preferably through campaigns over the social media. Comparing the costs involved in conventional marketing with that of social media, the latter involves a negligible cost. This paper proposes to analyse the different types of communication strategies that may best give start-ups a successful launch into the market and look for the feasible alternatives in social media over conventional marketing.
