Analyse der ökonomischen und demografischen Determinanten von Sportaktivitäten in Deutschland
In der Studie wird mittels des binären Logit-Modells untersucht, welche demografischen und ökonomischen Determinanten die Wahrscheinlichkeit, in Deutschland Sport zu treiben, beeinflussen. Dabei zeigt sich für die befragten Personen, dass die Sportaktivität mit zunehmendem Alter abnimmt. Eine Rolle spielen auch das Geschlecht, die Zugehörigkeit zu einer "sozialen Schicht" sowie gesundheitliche Aspekte. Außerdem werden diesbezüglich signifikante Unterschiede zwischen Personen aus West- und Ostdeutschland sichtbar.
