Analysis on the Influence of China's Industrial Policies on Digital Economy

The digital economy and digitalisation are becoming an ever more important element of production including in developed and emerging countries. This process leads to questions about the emergence of industrial policy focused on digital economies and digitalisation. In this paper, I investigate the Influence of China's Industrial policies to the Digital Economy in the period from 2010 to 2017. To assess the Influence Of China's Industrial Policies to the Digital Economy, I used Simple Regression Model. From the recently available data from the World Bank and United Nations Reports, the Influence Of China's Industrial Policies to Digital Economy is analyzed for the period of 2010 to 2017. The findings of the present study are quite interesting. The findings of the study reveals that China's Economic Openness has the positive relationship with China's Information Technology Contribution to GDP. Which means China's Industrial Policies had Significant Influence to China's Information Technology Contribution to GDP. Apart from that, the results reveals that China's Economic Openness has positive relation to China's Information technology Employment. Which means China's Industrial Policies had Significant Influence to China's Information technology Employment. However, The study findings reveals that the relationship between China's Economic Openness and China's Population using the Internet is Insignificant. Which means China's Industrial Policies had no Influence on China's Population using the internet in the period of 2010 to 2017
