An Analytical Study Based on the Performance of Micro Credit Income Generating Enterprises in India and its Impact on Women Entrepreneurship
Development of a country can not be sustained unless people for whom it is intended are at the centre of development activities. The goal of development is not merely to initiate a process of economic growth, but a process which will improve the capacity, skill, and lives of people. The concept of micro credit based enterprises has significance in this context. Micro enterprises embody an impressive array of initiatives, skills and talents, which if effective forms of assistance can be developed, have potential to make an enormous contribution to the economic growth. Recognising its importance, this paper is based on the performance of micro credit based enterprises in India and examines its impact on entrepreneurship. For evaluating its performance measuring its impact, 39 micro enterprises and 195 micro entrepreneurs have been taken
