Another Explanation of Income-Pollution Pattern

In this short comment to the paper of Andreoni and Levinson (2001), we show that we are able to explain the shape of the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) without considering to increasingreturns of scale in pollution abatement technology, but simply making explicit that the marginal disutility of pollution increases with income
