Anteil der Beschäftigten in Kurzarbeit fällt auf weniger als 1 Prozent

Die Anzahl der Kurzarbeitenden in Deutschland ist in den vergangenen Monaten erheblich gesunken. Nach der aktuellsten Schätzung des ifo Instituts, die sich auf Ergebnisse der ifo Konjunkturumfragen sowie Zahlen der Bundesagentur für Arbeit stützt, dürften im Mai noch etwa 277 000 Menschen in Deutschland in Kurzarbeit gewesen sein. Das entspricht 0,8% aller sozialversicherungspflichtig Beschäftigten. Vor allem die kontaktintensiven Dienstleistungsbranchen haben sich spürbar von der Coronakrise erholt, so dass die Kurzarbeit dort eine deutlich geringere Rolle spielt als noch zu Jahresbeginn. Im Verarbeitenden Gewerbe ist die Kurzarbeit zwar ebenfalls rückläufig, allerdings nicht ganz so stark wie es die vollen Auftragsbücher zulassen würden. Grund hierfür dürften vor allem Lieferengpässe bei Vormaterialien und Rohstoffen sein, die die Produktionstätigkeit vieler Unternehmen bremsen.
