Application of Fundamental Analysis in Stock Valuation in the Capital Market and Investment Decisions by Price Methods Earnings Ratio (PER)

This study aims to analyze the application of fundamental analysis methods in stock valuation in the capital market. The fundamental analysis method is an approach used to assess the intrinsic value of a stock based on the company's fundamental factors, including financial statements, operational performance, and economic factors. This study uses historical stock data from several companies listed on the stock exchange, and applies various financial ratios and stock valuation methods such as Price-to-Earnings Ratio (P/E Ratio), Price-to-Book Ratio (P/B Ratio), and Discounted Cash Flow (DCF). The results of the analysis show that fundamental analysis methods can provide a useful view of the intrinsic value of a stock. However, it was found that in some cases, external factors such as market sentiment and changes in economic policy also affect stock prices. This research contributes to the understanding of how fundamental analysis methods can be effectively applied in stock valuation in the capital market, taking into account internal and external factors that affect stock prices
