ASSESSING SPEECH AND LANGUAGE SERVICES AT A UNIVERSITY RESEARCH CENTER IN TURKEY: CONSUMER SATISFACTION

The aim of the study is to assess the satisfaction level of the consumers with speech and language disorders in a university center (DILKOM). In the research, a descriptive pattern was designed; 89 clients constituted the sample group. The consumers were assessed by Client/ Patient-Satisfaction Questionnaire in SLP. In the research, consumers’ level of total satisfaction was investigated according to which the items in which the patients' satisfaction levels are high, low and/ or unstable were determined. Patients' satisfaction levels according to the variables such as gender, education level, age, the diagnosis of their speech and language disorder was taken into consideration. The correlation among the sections of the satisfaction questionnaire was examined. As a result, it has been found that the consumers' satisfaction levels are high and these levels do not differ significantly regarding the parameters mentioned.
