Attitude of Indian Business Executives towards Managerial Decision Making
Effective and productive decisions are the mechanisms through which an organisation reduces the gap between actual and desired states, reaches new heights and indicates its present growth and success. As decision makers are constantly faced with complex, critical and challenging problems, business executives have to value and emphasise the process of decision making, acquaint themselves with adequate knowledge and facts, possess high degree of positive attitude towards importance of managerial decision making and problem solving capabilities.This paper examines the attitude of Indian business executives towards Executive Decision Making, compares the attitude of top and middle level executives, analyses reasons for the differences and suggests the measures to reduce this gap.
