Berufsorientierung und Berufseinstieg von Mädchen in einen geteilten Arbeitsmarkt
Die Studie 'Berufsorientierung und Berufseinstieg von Mädchen in einen geteilten Arbeitsmarkt' wurde im Auftrag der Frauenabteilung des Arbeitsmarktservice Österreich in einer Kooperation zwischen den sozialwissenschaftlichen Instituten Lechner & Reiter Sozialforschung und öibf (Österreichisches Institut für Berufsbildungsforschung) im Jahr 2002 durchgeführt und zu Beginn des Jahres 2003 abgeschlossen. Im Mittelpunkt der Untersuchung stand die Übergangsphase zwischen der Beendigung der Pflichtschule und Wahl eines Lehrberufes. Ziel war es, ein genaueres Bild über bestehende Strukturen und Bedingungen für junge Frauen im Ausbildungssystem während der Berufsorientierung und beim Einstieg in den Arbeitsmarkt zu erhalten. Um diese Thematik adäquat erfassen zu können, wurden umfangreiche empirische Erhebungen (Fragebogenerhebung bei SchülerInnen der vierten Klasse Hauptschule, Interviews mit Mädchen aus Mädchenberatungsstellen, BIZ-BetreuerInnen, AMS-BeraterInnen, Mädchenberaterinnen, Berufseinsteigerinnen und Personalverantwortlichen) sowie eine Literaturrecherche und Datenanalysen durchgeführt.
