Bestimmungsfaktoren von subjektiver Unsicherheit auf der Firmenebene

Schon Ludwig Erhard wusste, dass Wirtschaft zu 50% aus Psychologie besteht. Auch die Ökonomik misst "psychologischen" Faktoren wie Erwartungen, Risikoeinstellungen und subjektiver Unsicherheit eine wichtige Rolle zu. Um dies näher zu analysieren, befragt das ifo Institut seit Anfang 2013 die an den ifo Konjunkturumfragen teilnehmenden Firmen des Verarbeitenden Gewerbes nach Zukunftsszenarien für ihren Umsatz im nächsten Quartal und leitet daraus verschiedene Erwartungsgrößen ab. Eine dieser Größen - der Unterschied zwischen dem Umsatzwachstum im besten und im schlechtesten Fall - lässt sich als Maß der subjektiven unternehmerischen Unsicherheit interpretieren. In diesem Beitrag stellen wir dieses Maß vor und diskutieren seine Bestimmungsfaktoren. Es zeigt sich, dass Unsicherheit in Zeiten des Wandels zunimmt, selbst wenn dieser Wandel erwartet wurde.
