Beyond Empowerment : A Critique of Women's Vocational Skills Empowerment Programme and Gender Equity in Nigeria

This research paper analyzes the women empowerment programs in Nigeria and identifies if they're equitable and inclusive enough. I will provide recommendations for future research studies. Thus, the final project will be a written report that will include an abstract of the research findings, an introduction, a literature review, data collection methods, an analysis of results, and recommendations for future research. These issues are the central theme of this essay titled "Beyond empowerment: a critique of women's vocational skills programs and gender equity in Nigeria." The essay seeks to answer the questions:• What development approaches influence women's vocational skills empowerment programs in Nigeria?• What are the promises and limitations of women's vocational skills empowerment programs to promote gender equity in Nigeria?
