Bibliometric Analysis of the Economic Crisis Topic

Using bibliographic records from Web of Science and Scopus, this paper tries to give a complete view of the economic crisis topic based on literature published during 2008 to 2012. This is a descriptive survey using scientometric indicators. This paper presents a quantitative study of productivity, characteristics and various aspects of publications in the field of the economic crisis. This study demonstrates that the amount of research increased dramatically during the crisis.
