Challenges and Solution Suggestions for Women Cooperatives in Turkey : The Case of Konya

Women's cooperatives play a significant role in the development of countries. In this study, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 20 participants from women's cooperatives in Konya. The cooperative employees were directed with 20 predetermined interview questions. The responses provided by the cooperative employees were recorded with their consent and transformed into documents. These records were then analyzed through coding using the "MAXQDA 2022" software. The analysis revealed that the major challenges faced by women's cooperatives are financial constraints, management issues, and employment. As a result of the study, recommendations were made to increase government support and provide necessary guidance, which would establish a solid foundation for women's cooperatives to address the challenges they face
