CICLO DE VIDA DE LAS FIRMAS: ANÁLISIS EN TRES REGIONES COLOMBIANAS
Los territorios enfrentan actualmente un período de transición complejo hacia un nuevo modelo de desarrollo, que prioriza políticas dirigidas a la competitividad, la educación, la inversión privada, las exportaciones, la conectividad y la convivencia social. Por lo tanto, en la nueva economía globalizada, las regiones y localidades en lugar de desaparecer, quedan integradas en redes internacionales que interconectan sus sectores más dinámicos. En este sentido, la descentralización y la globalización son dos tendencias que convergen en la apertura, en un proceso en el cual el papel de las ciudades y la competencia entre ellas se vuelven más significativos.
